Reno Memorial Day Regional Tournament - 2006 460 teams competed Memorial Weekend at the Reno Convention Center. The Renegades came strong and stacked with the 11&UGirls, 14&UGirls, 11&UBoys, 12&UBoys and 13&UBoys all ready and prepared for battle! The fellas of 11&U played the elite Division 1 level and faced up against teams coming from the SF Bay up to Oregon's AAU State Champs. The fellas battled hard and took home a 3rd place win for the green. Way to go! The 11&UGirls, 14&UGirls, 12&UBoys, and 13&UBoys faced off with teams from So.Cal all the way to Alaska in Division 2 level play. The 11&UGirls came out of their pool tied for 1st and ended their bracket play with a 3 and 1 record. The guys from 13&U came out of pool in 1st place also and ended their run with a 3 and 1 record as well. Nice job eh!!! The 12&UBoys, with only 1 tournament under their belts, battled it out and walked away with a 2nd place win!!! Excellent job for only your second tournament guys! The 14&UGirls fought hard all weekend, winning one of their pool games in OT with a down to the wire lay-up that brought the house down! Great job ladies and congratulation on your 3rd place win! Many thanks go out to the parents and families that came out to support all the players. (Even had a daddy fly in from New York!!!) With all the continued support, the Renegades will surely continue to roll over the competition and bring even more hardware home! Enjoy the pics...
