Renegades on the Road to Reno Gades of all sizes came out to get pumped up for the Reno Memorial Day Tournament. The Rally had an excellent attendance with boys and girls age 7 through 15 from our teams coming out for some good eats, good fun, the 'TUNNEL', exciting raffle prizes (did someone say they won a computer?), and the ever exciting...even though there were a lot of teams... 2BALL COMPETITION! It was GREEN against GOLD with 40+ teams signing up to try and claim the title of 2BALL CHAMP. The teams were made up of a Player and parent (or a stand in!) Those that made it out of pool play into the ELITE 8 were Devo/CJ, Erik/Anthony, JP/Jason, Jalen/Arjay, Jalen/Micki, KO/Ting, Deanna/Lindberg and Jakey/Rich. The FINAL 4 saw the likes of Jalen/Micki, Jakey/Rich, Jalen/Arjay, and Devo/CJ battle it out for supremacy. In the end, Jalen s. threw up a 3 that almost forced the CHAMPS - DEVO and CJ into overtime. CONGRATS ON THE TITLE FELLAS... Thanks to all the families that brought food and drinks to share. We are the "RENEGADES" because of your support. Everyone have fun in Reno and represent your Green and Gold!!! |
